ROLLY CRUMP (1930-2023)

[Satirical Counterculture].
Group of three offset lithograph posters. Each approximately 914x610 mm; 36x24 inches. Includes: Aeroflotsam and Jetsam (1967), Fly to Cuba and Get Shot Down (1960), and Attend the Annual Berkley Fiesta (1967).

Crump was an imagineer for Walt Disney, and an assistant animator on such classics as Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, and Sleeping Beauty. He also contributed to "It's a Small World" for the 1964-5 World's Fair in New York (most recognizably the stylized facade of the building), and the large "Tower of the Four Winds" sculpture in front of the pavilion. In addition to his work for Disney, Crump also designed a number of satirical, less family-friendly posters on political and social themes.
